  1. Hi Ann Marie. I realized today that I’d not heard from you in some time and obliviously I needed to stop by to see what was happening to you. I was pleased to see that I’d somehow missed this story and have to tell you, This Is Priceless. . .
I was Nate to a local Dillion who had both an amazing attraction to trouble and a personality that made the risk frequently worth trying at least once. He got me in plenty of trouble until one day on my dad’s advice, I just socked him good. He cleaned up his act some after that.

Also, I wanted to let you know that, per your suggestion, I’ve expanded the story, Ayem Notthymn into a short story 3 times in length, but after reading this story, I now worry that it may not bass the Granny-friendly test. I think I got away with some ‘delicate’ scenes in the first rendition, but they’re a bit stronger and I hope no line has been breached because I would still greatly value your feedback. It still has it’s redeeming message, but it’s a rougher ride getting there.
So, I will represent at least a slice of your fan base in hoping that you are back to full health and are ready for whatever your Nate and Dillion have queue up for 2021.

Now that ‘Ayem Notthymn: The Second Door’ is done, I’ve been trying to upgrade my blog theme and between the new theme and the blasted block editor, many of my stores and my TOC have been mangled. So, instead of doing something more fun, I’m fixing things that weren’t broken. grrrr.

Anyway, I’ve already taken more of your time than I planned. If you find a free hour and are looking for something interesting to read, I think you will agree with your original advise and that there was plenty more to Ayem and Havilah’s story than I thought. Here’s link if that hour somehow appears.

  2. Hello Anne Marie. This note refers to your new (as of today) post, French Canadian Roots.
I think there is something wrong with the link as what came through failed to connect with the story. I was able to enjoy it from the email itself, but the link died with an error message. When I went to your home page, I expected to see this story as the most current but no joy. The story above was still showing as the most current. My guess, you somehow managed to send out the edit window temporary link rather than the permanent one. You might want to correct this by making sure you save that post before posting it. It was a good post too. Can you even imagine making such a trip? what a different world than the ones we were raised in.
    Blessings.
