I have written before that I share writing in common with my maternal grandmother. My cousin Leah inherited a talent with the needle from our paternal grandmother.

Gardening with my Dad. Whenever I popped over as a grownup the first thing we had to do was look in the greenhouse and walk the garden….I miss that.

my mum loves violas and my dad always planted some. I have never had to plant any, they just appeared because I would take cuttings from dad….and even in this garden where I didn’t have any of my dad’s plants they are appearing. He must be watching.
