The obvious would be stories of my ancestors arriving in the United States for their new beginnings. Less obvious would be the person or persons left behind after the death of a loved one and the start of their “new” lives.

I am also starting to include more stories about me. Several months ago, my older grand kids told me they enjoy reading about the history of our family, but they also asked that I include more stories about my immediate family and me.
