I really enjoyed your blog. That definitely was a long, hard trip. I have a 4x Great Grandmother, Permelia (Loving) Allen who at the age of 68, led 36 families, all related, from Missouri to West Texas in 1848. I guess Allen’s are strong, adventurous people!
