I grew up in rural America with very little money: https://kindredconnection.wordpress.com/2015/11/19/wealthy-beyond-measure/. I did not go on vacations or spend weeks at summer camps. The big events for me were vacation Bible school, Sundays at my grandmothers’ homes, family reunions, and multi-family cookouts. The rest of my summer was spent on the seat of a bike, down by the creek, swinging in an old oak tree, or running through the sprinkler. Hi Ann Marie. You’ve seen this story before but it is one of my favorite summer memories. Those were blessed days when there was no school and lots of hill sides within walking distance for young boys to explore and create amazing adventures that we hoped our parents never heard anything about. Would your readers enjoy a laugh with my: https://garyawilsonstories.wordpress.com/the-eucalyptus-sprouts-adventure/ ?
