A Home of My Own

Opening the door to my first home sent butterflies scurrying as a rush of emotions raced through me.  Knowing that I was really on my own had caused a more than a few sleepless nights, and now that the time had finally arrived, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to take this new beginning.  Part of me wanted to run back to my little island home in California and live with the grandmother that I adored and missed so desperately. My Crazy Kids

This photo of my daughter, Leslie and her husband Aaron, along with all the grand babies will always be one of my favorite photos. It was taken during Pioneer Day Weekend, September 2013 in Florence, Colorado. A family friend, Phyllis Ibarra, took this old fashioned picture.
