Yes, I have known for a while now, I lead an “exciting” life. More often than not, I have felt like that cliche spinster teacher that lives by herself in a house filled with stray cats, except in my case I have mini doxies. Even my own daughter calls me the crazy doxie lady. Sigh.

A Unique Christmas Ornament
I listened as he described why he was calling.” My wife heard his name and was intrigued enough to stop and listen .
“Yea, I heard a news report about how cold it was in Denver and figured it must be at least that cold in the Springs.”
My wife’s eyebrows went up, sensing that something had to be wrong. Mark would not have called just to talk about the weather

The Tree Tag Adventure
I don’t think you’re normal if you did not, as a child, ever want to escalate a reasonable game of tag up into a good climbing tree. On this chilly morning, a light snow falls, adding a new layer to this winter wonderland. This peaceful setting makes me wish for just a few more days
Still, In time, I will return again to enjoy another season of mountain splendor…maybe in the spring and definitely this summer…or I just might find myself homesick for another quiet moment in the mountains, and I will find my way back for a long weekend at Creekside Chalets and Cabins. This place has become one of my favorite places, and I can not wait to return.
